The South Bend Common Council held a first reading for bill 25-10, which revises South Bend's tax abatement ordinance, on May 24, 2010. Council member Tim Rouse announced that the bill was assigned to the Community and Economic Development Committee of the Council and that he anticipated a public hearing and vote on the bill on June 28, 2010. The Committee will hold a public meeting on the bill on Tuesday, June 8, at 5 PM on the fourth floor of the County-City Building.
