Public forum: Michiana's Sustainable Future

The program will begin with a viewing of a brief video on Environmental Justice, “Majoria Carter: Greening the Ghetto”. Following the Video, Dr, Keen and Mr. Summers will share information on what is and will be happening in Michiana as it relates to green and sustainability projects. They will share information about the April 21 and 22 Michiana Greentown and discuss FREE energy audits, how they work and how they can save you money. They will also share information on programs that can have an immediate impact on your family’s health and will discuss upcoming projects that profit local community-based businesses.Most importantly, they will ask questions to better understand what we, the community, want and need to make our communities healthier, cleaner and more livable. Their goal is to listen, learn and take the input we provide to be incorporated into the planning and implementation of sustainability projects throughout the Michiana region.Join us.
