On November 6, three members of the South Bend Community School Corporation Board of Trustees will be elected by registered voters who live in School Districts 1, 2 and 5. Not all families in South Bend include children who attend schools in the South Bend Community School Corporation. But ALL residents of South Bend should be concerned about public education in South Bend!

Discussion will address both the challenges faced by the School Corp AND possible solutions to overcome those challenges. A central focus will be reasons why a strong public education system is critical to the common good, because a quality education for all children is an essential component for a healthy and thriving community.
