A Public Forum sponsored by the Community Forum for Economic Justice

Latorya Greene will discuss two goals of “Smoke Free St. Joe”: reducing youth initiation to tobacco and protecting nonsmokers from second-hand smoke. She will describe marketing decisions that target young potential smokers, particularly in poor and minority neighborhoods.  
 
Karl Nichols, from Community Wellness Partners, will focus on the impact of tobacco use on major health problems such as infant mortality, diabetes and cancer.
