Apr 21, 2015: Community Forum on Voting

YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE

PROTECT IT AND USE IT!

The last municipal primary election was held in 2011.
In that election, only 9% of registered voters went to the polls in St. Joseph County.

May 5 is election day for this year’s primary.
– Early voting has begun.
– Candidate forums & debates are being held.
– Candidate election teams are canvassing and phoning.
– Yard signs are multiplying; mailings are arriving.

Recipients of Community Forum emails probably vote in most or all elections.
What we’ll discuss at our next monthly forum is how we can increase voter turnout on May 5.
Bring your ideas and suggestions, as well as your friends, neighbors and co-workers…….
