6th Annual Forum: Program and Sponsor List finalized

The topic for discussion: How will the 2011 Indiana Legislative Assembly Impact Economic Opportunities in St. Joseph County?
The issues: collective bargaining rights for teachers and other public employees, school vouchers and the expansion of charter schools, project labor agreements and prevailing wage for public construction, "right to work" — what does it mean and what changes would it bring.

When: Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 9 am to 3 pm (registration and light breakfast begins at 8:30)
Where: IU South Bend, Wiekamp Hall 1001 

Afternoon workshops:
Small Business Development: Providing Additional Opportunities for Entrepreneurship
Creating Safe and Stable Neighborhoods
Using Tax Abatements to Promote Community Benefits

Pre-registration is requested so that adequate lunches can be ordered.  There is a $6 charge for lunch.
