Saint Joseph County Minority Health Coalition as well as statewide affiliates around the state have led the community conversation around the Affordable Care Act/Health Care Reform. You have been the catalyst to bring federal, state and community experts together to provide information to consumers and stakeholders.

What? Let legislators know that Hoosiers prioritize healthcare access for all. We want to urge Governor Pence to implement Medicaid Expansion and educate our elected officials on our State's urgent unmet healthcare needs.
Why?
- Indiana had a choice to expand coverage through Medicaid under the health care law. To date, the Governor and elected officials have decided not to expand coverage.
- Over 300,000 Hoosiers will be left without options for health insurance coverage. We can't wait to close the gap.
- By not expanding coverage, Indiana has left billions of federal dollars on the table. Estimates show Indiana has the potential to bring up to $26 billion in Federal funds through 2020.
